Maryland District 36

On July 28th Senator Hershey, Delegate Jacobs and Delegate Ghrist officially filed for RE-ELECTION in 2022 to continue to represent District 36. They have all worked together over the last 8 years to bring as much to our District as possible. Regardless of your affiliation you will have to agree that team 36 has worked for the people of the 36th District, from Hospice to CBEC to YMCA’s for both Kent and Queen Anne’s along with our push to get rail service to Cecil County, and supporting our County Commissioners and Council on local legislation. They support our businesses, our farmers and our constituents. They have all voted against some of the major taxes being pushed by the Majority Party in Annapolis. They have solidified healthcare in all of our counties, from the Chester River Hospital to critical care needs in Caroline and Queen Anne’s. They formed a major workgroup for the Bay Bridge that is called upon to help solve some of our weekend traffic. Little short of another bridge will fix things but they are continually looking for ways to help. Thanks to the Queen Anne's County Sheriff’s office and their presence, back roads are not as crowded.
