Kennedy Joins the GOP

Cecil County's Republican Central Committee is happy to announce that the last empty seat has been filled. We are proud to introduce Kathleen Kennedy of North East, MD to the county community.

As a registered nurse at Harford Memorial Hospital and a credentialed trainer for Epic, Kennedy brings to the fold a voice from the healthcare industry. Under her belt are many licenses and certifications, and a nomination for the DAISY award.

Her political background includes work for the campaign of Ross Perot, who famously ran against both President George H.W. Bush and Democratic Candidate Bill Clinton in 1992 as a popular independent conservative candidate. Perot ultimately failed to achieve the nation's highest office, but the experience taught many the value of party unity during election cycles.

Kennedy was appointed to her seat on the Cecil County Republican Central Committee by vote after a thorough interview and review of her resume.
