The Cecil County Board of Elections will conduct a manual audit of the 2020 Presidential General Election starting on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 9:00 AM. This audit may take more than one day to complete and will continue daily until finished.

The Cecil GOP will need to find 5 republicans to sit on the Cecil County’ redistricting commission. One in each of our county districts.

The Cecil County Republican Central Committee is in full support of Congressman Harris for his efforts in trying to resolve the election irregularities and urge all voters to reach out to Congressman Harris to show your support for him. We are fortunate to have this patriot representing us in the “swamp” of Washington DC.

Our Cecil County Republican Central Committee will be hosting this Super Saturday where other republican groups from all over Maryland come to Cecil County to help knock and hand out literature for Trump! There will be food and beverages available.

Vice Chairman Ronald Lobos tendered his resignation from the position during the Central Committee's June meeting. We would like to welcome Ryan Farmer as our new vice chair. Since joining the Cecil GOP in the fall of 2019, he has been an active participant in committee functions and a frequent turnout at political events.

The Cecil County Republican Central Committee, by a unanimous vote of support, feels strongly that there is no one better suited for the position of National Committeewoman. All Central Committee members have a friend representing them at the RNC in Nicolee Ambrose, and Cecil County encourages you to join us by voting for her re-election.

The Board of Elections is in need of potential candidate(s) from the Cecil County Republican Central Committee in order to fill the spot of a board member who recently tendered their resignation. The Cecil County Republican Central Committee are accepting letters of intent for this position and should be sent to info@CecilGOP.org or faxed to (410) 670-8310 for consideration. 12PM on February 19th, 2020 will be the deadline for consideration for the election board seat. The Republican Central Committee will conduct a special meeting on February 19th, 2020 at 7PM to make the recommendation to Governor Hogan for appointment.

Delegate Cassilly was appointed by Larry Hogan to become the governor’s new senior advisor. This great honor left Cassilly’s seat in the General Assembly vacant, and now it is up to the committees of Cecil and Harford County to choose his replacement.
